Next, we take detailed measurements and review samples with you. A finalized quote and 3D renderings are delivered within 3–5 business days.
Step 3: Fabrication
Your cabinetry is crafted in-house using high-quality materials and CNC precision. Finishes are applied at our shop to ensure quality and consistency.
Step 4: Installation
Our team will install your cabinetry with care, efficiency, and attention to detail — ensuring the final product looks and functions exactly as intended.

Meet The Owner
Steve Fichtelman
Steve has always had a passion for working with his hands, but it wasn’t until he moved back from California that he became truly drawn to cabinetry. What began as a personal fascination quickly turned into a full-blown obsession — he started watching videos, studying techniques, and transformed his garage into a makeshift workshop where he built projects purely for the joy of it.
He later had the opportunity to work under a master cabinetmaker, gaining hands-on experience and a deeper appreciation for the craft. That mentorship laid the foundation for what would become SL Woodwork. Today, Steve runs the business full time out of a 2,100-square-foot facility, building custom cabinetry with the same curiosity, care, and craftsmanship that first inspired him to pick up a tool.
When Steve isn’t in the workshop, he can usually be found spending time with his family, playing pool (billiards), or watching MLB.
